I saw in one of my parenting magazines that Amber Alert has come out with a new product. It’s a datastick that contains software for storing info about your child in case they go missing. I think it’s a great idea except I can’t afford to pay $29.95 or if you have multiple children it is $44.95! So I made my own, sort of. I created an excel spreadsheet that includes almost all the info I would need. I also have a datastick I can save it to.
I have decided to share the excel file with you. You may need to add other info, especially if your not married to your child’s father. But this is a good start. Check out http://www.ncmec.org for more information you may need. If you want this file you can download it here: Child ID Kit (110).
