I had hope that using my computer while I am pregnant wouldn’t bother me so much, but it does. I get dizzy and sometime feel physically uncomfortable when using a computer. I hope to get online as much as I can tolorate. I will defiantly be online once a week for a quick check on everything.

I haven’t been online for the past 6 weeks due to morning sickness which I get 24/7 and not just in the morning. But now I am over that, although I now have a respiratory illness and it is causing problems with my asthma, so I have been resting as much as my energetic 3 year-old will allow me. Otherwise my pregnancy is going well. I got to hear my baby’s heart beat for the first time the day before my birthday :)

I will try to update this blog each time I go online.

I just found out I am pregnant! I am so excited. We have been wanting another baby, but with my husband having been unemployed and then the move, it was put off. We decided to try after we moved and now I am pregnant! Perfect timing! And this time I get to be with my family, instead of half way around the planet! (I was living in Japan when my son was born). Although my dad is moving to St. Thomas this weekend, so he will be missing out on this birth too, unless he comes for an extended stay around my due date.

Speaking of my due date, it’s May 19, 2009. There are two other people in my extended family who have birthday’s in May. My husband’s grandmother’s birthday is May 7 and my brother-in-law’s wife, Kelly’s birthday is May 14. Now my child just has to be born on May 21 to complete the 7 days apart.

I really hope I have a girl. I love my son, but I would like to have a girl to be able to share my hobbies with. Although I do plan to teach Liam scrapbooking and other crafts. He will also know how to sew, even if it’s just stitching a tear or re-attaching a button.

So far my pregnancy has been very different than with my son. Before I knew I was pregnant immediately. There were defiant signs. This time there really isn’t any signs except the missing period and the positive pregnancy test. Also I am not nauseous. With my son I couldn’t even keep water down. This time all I want to do is eat. And if I don’t eat, I feel sick when my stomach is even partly empty. I have been feeling drained, but I am also sick with a bad cold.

Well I hope my pregnancy goes as well as with my son. The last 6 months with him were the best 6 months of my life! Physically, that is. I felt fantastic! I could eat dairy products! I could eat a lot of foods I would normally avoid because they made me ill! I craved cereal (with milk!) and ice cream all the time, two foods that would have made me sick. Even my depression didn’t bother me! I had felt healthier than I had ever felt before! I would love to feel that way again. Also the pregnancy had changed my metabolism so much, that after I gave birth my weight was 120lbs! I was 150lbs before I got pregnant. That was my weight when I graduated high school and collage! And now I never weigh more than 125lbs and that is with me not dieting. I just eat what I want. That does tend to be healthier choices, but I still eat a dozen or more Hershey Kisses in a day, and Oreos cookies (which I have started craving?). Mostly I eat smaller portions thoughout the day. I have healthy snacks with my son, too. So I eat more often, but less each time. I hope this new pregnancy won’t be messing with that.

Journaling: Never Grow Up. Just get older. Do not take life too seriously or you will miss out on the little pleasures

I have been living in my first house for 2 years. We’ve been trying to sell it for 1 year. Here is a layout I made about moving into our first house. The journaling is written to my husband who wasn’t there for the closing of the house or for the moving in and getting settled.

Journaling: It was March 24, 2005 and we were buying our first house, but “we” were not there. It was just me. I was moving into a new house, in a new town, with a 6 month old. I was at least a 12 hour drive from any family in an unfamiliar state and in an almost alien southern part of the country. I unpacked everything. It took me over two months. Liam learned to hold his bottle on his own. He started moving about the floor but not crawling. I had to get someone to hang the blinds, to change the locks, to mow the lawn, and to install some shelving. I painted our bedroom on my own, while Liam napped. Liam and I celebrated Easter alone. We celebrated mother’s day alone. You returned in early June. Returned is the wrong word since you never were there. You arrived in June. Liam was afraid of you. He didn’t know who you were. You had been gone since January. You got to see the new house, the new dining room table, and the new couch. You had to learn where everything went, I already had that down. You didn’t have to unpack or get rid of boxes. You didn’t have to call utilities companies. You had it very easy. You only had to miss us. We had do all the moving, unpacking, settling, coping. We had to do it all while missing you.
