3.) Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

Here is a layout I made today of my sorta first mother’s day. I was 5 months pregnant. I had gone to a mother’s day event on base and ended up winning a photo of myself in a Kimono. The Japanese ladies who dressed me were all excited about me having a baby too! They just love babies!

Journaling: I was a long way from family. I was 5 months pregnant for the first time and it was mother’s day. I was all alone, my husband sleeping after a night shift. The shining moment of the day was winning a photo of myself in an authentic Japanese Kimono. Yokota AFB, Japan. May 8, 2005.

I am absolutely loving this new kit, Calista, by Kristy Valshan.

The colors are perfect for spring, Easter, or special moments like the one I scrapped about:

Journaling: My little sister was born on my birthday. I did not get to see her though. I was glad to have a little playmate. I really wanted to hold her when she finally came home. I wasn’t allowed to. They said I was too young and she was too delicate. Finally when she was 3 months old, they allowed me to hold my little “Cobby”.
Also make sure you visit the Kristy Valshan blog for a free quickpage made using Calista.

Journaling: It was October 29, 1983. It was Colleen’s and my birthday. We really wanted a Strawberry Shortcake birthday party. Our mom made the cake. We absolutely loved it. I think is may have even been strawberry cake (my favorite).
