Monday Pick Me Up – September 8
I haven’t posted a Monday Pick Me Up in awhile, but I am glad I have the time (and internet) to start posting them again. I regretted not posting about the Songbird Avenue August kit. It was very beautiful, but sadly it is no longer available. However I am glad to post about the Songbird Avenue September kit, Autumn Woods. Autumn Woods, designed by Two Sisters Designs and Jan Crowely, benifits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! I love the colors and the asortment of autumn styles.
NitWit Collections came out with many great designs while I was away. I love them all and just wish to quickly share a few (well all) from August. First there was All Fired Up, great for those summer Bar-B-Que layouts. Then there was the Summer Splash Collection, which has so many great summer designs for those water related layouts.
The most recent kit by NitWit Collection, Live ‘n Learn, is so cute and perfect for my photos of my son starting Preschool (I can’t believe he is 3 already!). I love the school house, crayons and chalk board; so adorable. I can’t wait to start scrapping with this kit.
Also check out Live ‘n Learn Too, Live ‘n Learn Solids, Lil Bits – Live ‘n Learn and Alphawits – Learnin’ Curves.
The Bottom of the Toybox collab, by Jacque Larsen, Jenna Desai and Karah Fredricks, is so… so… AWESOMELY CUTE! I love all the toy elements and the designs and the colors… actually there is nothing I don’t love about it! You MUST check out the layouts made with this kit!!!
Well that is all I am posting about today. I really have been deleting most of my new product emails. I never had enough internet time to go through them. Now I will be able to get caught up.

Monday Pick Me Up – May 5
I have found so many great new kits this weekend. I also picked up a lot of great new items which I will talk about tomorrow and share some of my layouts. I haven’t scrapped this much since I became a designer!

So today I am going to share some of my favorite finds and there are a lot! So if you still have any money left
you might want to check these items out. First I found this great charity kit called Love U 4 Ever by the Charity Design Team at NDISB and Elemental Scraps. The charity kit benefits the Alex’s Lemonade Stand and when I read the story about the charity, it made me cry. So you can buy this beautiful kit and help children with cancer at the same time. How wonderful is that? Also the Sweet Shoppe has a companion kit that also benefits Alex’s Lemonade Stand, so now you can get 2 kits to benefit the cause.
Another wonderful kit I found is Imagine That by Robin Carlton and Misty Cato. I love the bright colors, it can work for a boy or girl layout. I especially love the wheel with different activities on it. I know that would be cute on a page of my son.
Also if you buy it before May 9 you can get the Imagine That Circle Coaster Album FREE! I will just have to get this before May 9th!
Now here is a neat template for your layouts… number text paths which you can put your journaling, repeat a name or what ever you want and it will be in the shape of a number. Text Paths for Photoshop Elements – Numbers , by Sarah Meyer, would be great for year in review, birthdays and other special event layouts. Just imagine you can make your journaling into a title or a date. I hope she comes out with an alphabet version too!
Today I also found a bunch of new alphas. I love alphas, especially ones that look like they are attached to page like you would with paper scrapbooking. So here are a few that caught my eye…

Doodle Scraps – Alpha, by Gina Marie Huff, is great to add a bit of doodle whimsy to a title. The doodles are also included without the paper scraps behind it, which gives you more options to use them. There is also a Doodle Scraps – Doodles and Word Art version which has tons of great doodles.
Get Punched Alpha, by Nikki Beaudreau, reminds me of the chipboard alpha I use on my paper layouts. I often would keep the non-punched out pieces of the chipboard in the a’s, o’s and other letters, because I couldn’t get them out without using an x-acto knife. And me + knife = blood and bandages. So I like this alpha because it will match my paper pages, but somehow Nikki makes it look better and more stylish to keep those pieces in.
Puzzled – The Neutrals and Puzzled – The Colors, by Holly Designs, are so much fun! Imagine all the ways you can use these. You can make titles or have random letter puzzle pieces on your page. And you can get both in the Puzzled – The Combo Pack so you will have more options!

Fresh Outlook at Songbird Avenue!
There is a new charity kit, Fresh Outlook, at Songbird Avenue and it’s fantastic! I love the colors! I just wish we had money (we are in a no income situation right now except for my sales at ScrapDish which isn’t enough to even to buy groceries).
This kit as Kate Teague as the guest designer. And as always all the profits goes to charity, this month it goes to National Multiple Sclerosis Society. So go over to Songbird Avenue and buy it before this month is out, for it will be gone in April!

Open Your Heart
Usually I post about the Songbird Avenue charity kit earlier in the month, but because of all my computer problems I haven’t been able to get around to it until now. This month’s kit, Open You Heart, is absolutely beautiful! Susan Bartolini is this month’s guest designer too!
Included in this kit are: 13 patterned papers and 8 solid papers, 2 journaling cards, 2 frames, 4 coordinating puffy heart stickers, 1 sponge paint heart border, 4 coordinating heart shaped stick pins, 1 felt heart embellished with buttons, 1 layered flower with button, 4 stitched, felt words (be mine, hug, kiss, love), 1 glitter heart flourish, 4 coordinating photo corners, 2 coordinating twine pieces with eyelets, 2 coordinating flourish frames, 2 metal accents, and stamped alpha set (0-9 and upper case A-Z and :&,!{}()”*)
Of course the best part of this kit is that all the profits will benefit the Minute Man Arc Early Intervention Agency.
