I thought I would continues the Monday Pick Me Ups. I have found a lot of great kits to share. First off you MUST check out the ScrapDish Designers July 2009 Collab kit.

Designed by Angela Sharrow, Carola Mondini, Caroline B, Helena Monteiro, Red Leaf Digiscrapping, Scrap Desafios, Scrap Shana, Shelly Chua & Tracy King. This kit is very feminine Right now this large kit (with over 35 papers, over 50 elements and 6 quickpages) is on sale for $3.50!
Also check out the ScrapDish Designers January 2009 Collab kit which is retiring and is currently on sale for $1.00. This New Years themed kit was designed by Jan Hosford, Melinda Staley, Phoenix Designs, Natasha NaSt, Ruby Rynne, Sara Ellis, Shelly Chua and Tahera.
Also at ScrapDish there are two great kits by Carola Mondini.

Innocence and So Sweet caught my eye when I browsing ScrapDish. I guess now that I have a daughter I will notice more of the great kits for scrapbooking more feminine layouts. I just love all the fibers, swirls, flowers, etc in these two kits. I just wish I could afford to buy these kits ($5.50 each) so that I could use them for layout of my daughter.
Now if you are looking for some 4th of July kits check out these:

Independent, by Jennifer Fox, is a rich red, white and blue kit with elements and papers that will work with all sorts of layouts beyond Independence Day. The best part is the price, just $2.49. You can’t beat that!
Traci Reed always has great kits, but her American Spirit kit is more than just great! It’s not your traditional red, white and blue. It also has yellow and black, making it more versital. The elements definitely show patriotism with the american flag, patrotic titles, stars, etc. You MUST check out her American Heroes kit too. It has great elements for real heroes, like firemen and police officers. You can get both kits in the Heoric Spirit Bundle.

I have started designing again but it is slow going. It’s hard to design with a baby in one arm. Do you realize how often you use the “shift” or “ctrl” keys while using a mouse?
Anyway… I would love to know what weekly posts I should bring back, if any. Do you miss my Monday Pick Me Up or Featured Kits? Would you like the return of the Comments Contest?
BTW I have re-opened my shop, if you are looking for some of my older stuff. If you would like to make a purchase, use the coupon below to save 15%!

Currently I am suffering from nausea. When I was pregnant with my son, I couldn’t keep water down! But I have learned a new way to manage my nausea. Don’t let my stomach get empty! But another problem is my computer. I don’t know why but using my computer makes me nauseous. So I am going to make this quick…

If you have read my previous Monday Pick Me Ups, you know that I love the NitWit Collections kits. Mary Fran has created another kit that is perfect for my layouts of my son! Some Assembly Required is so perfect for my family. My father worked in construction, and while growing up my home was always a work in progress. I learned alot about tools and how to build a house. I plan on passing my knowledge to my son. He already has his own (plastic) tool set which my dad bought him. I have been looking for the perfect kit to scrapbook all the photos of my son working at his workbench. Now I have found it. There are also some addons.

Okay, that is all I can do today…

Today is the first day of Autumn, my favorite season in New Hampshire! I haven’t experienced a real autumn in almost 5 years! So now I finally can see the leaves change to blazing colors of red and orange.

Sugar Maple, by Cori Gammon, makes me think of autumn. The bold colors or red, orange, yellow, brown and green are perfect for autumn layouts. There is also a Sugar Maple Addon that coordinates with more papers and elements.

Another great autumn kit I found is Harvest Fun by Sweet Digi Scraps. The elements are fantastic looking. I just love the scarecrow and the tree! This kit would also work for school and halloween photos!
I found some great journaling elements with text paths, for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements users, that can give any layout or journaling something extra. The Write Stuff by Misty Cato and Darcy Baldwin comes with 4 journaling spots each with there own text path (seperate), a font, 115 paper cut words, an alpha in 5 colors, a date set with months, days and years and a set word art! There is so many fantastic word related elements in this kit that you can’t possibly not have a use for it.

September is already half over! Where did the first part of September go? Well I forgot to post about ScrapDish’s new collab kit, which I had participated in. So will today.

September 2008 Designer Collaborative Kit, by the ScrapDish Designers (Angela Sharrow, Barb Eibel, Candace Duffy-Jones, Caroline B, Jill D-Zines, Kristmess Designs, Phoenix Designs & Melinda Staley), is full of Back to School papers, elements, alphabets (2 complete sets) and quickpages. Right now you can even get this big kit on sale for $4.50!
Owls were very popular, last year, in scrapbooking. I am not sure if they are still popular, but these kits are sure to bring them back. Hootfest January, Hootfest March, Hootfest April, Hootfest May, Hootfest June, Hootfest August, Hootfest September, Hootfest November, by Heidi Larsen, not only have great color schemes, but also great textures and interesting patterns. Right now they are all 40% off.

I found some great photo frames/mats that I wish to share. Booklet Frames and Notices, Good Old Photo and Photo on Old Paper by Melgen Designs are great way to add some age to your photos! Right now they are just $1!

I also found some more great alphabets I wish to share:
Boutique Story Bits, by Laurie Ann, has so many different styles to give an eclectic look. Might work for children’s layouts or ransom letters.
Smudgy Fingersn Alpha, by Cori Gammond, has a classy, smudgy, newspaper look. This alpha could work with many different layout themes and styles.
