I was sad when NitWit Collections website was down for over a week. I had wanted to buy one of the kits on the site. I ended up spending my money else where (I have a shopping problem which is why I keep my spending money seperate from the household money). But I was happy when the site was back up and I saw this new kit (even though I have no money to buy it:( ).

What’s All the Buzz Collection by NitWit Collections is so perfect for my son and now he is discovering the wonder of bugs (to my dismay). As always with Mary Fran’s designs, it is absolutely adorable! Also, as always, there are some addons… Alphawit Buzz Words, What’s All the Buzz Solids, What’s All the Buzz Too, and Lil Bits What’s All the Buzz.

Now the rest of the finds I have to share are all elements. I not usually one to buy elements on there own, except alphas, since I am big to sticking to one kit in a layout. But once in awhile I layouts that do not focus on one kit and that is when I would like to use elements like these…

A Pocket Full Of…, by Leora Sanford, caught my eye. I have frequently used transparent pockets on my paper layouts and I would love to have them on my digital layouts too. I love the differen edging and the fact there is the one pocket versions and the 3 pocket versions.

Another find by Leora Sanford is IDed and Labeled. I love the idea of journaling, titling or just labeling your layouts with ID cards or office labels. I also like the ID holders. I have a few of those around my house and had thought about using them in paper layouts but never could figure out a good way to attach them. With digital you don’t have to worry about whether the glue will hold or if it will unclip from the ribbon, paper or other element you attach it to.

In Grandma’s Garden, by Jacque Larsen, is absolutely adorable! I have always loved felt elements and these are perfect for layouts of my son.

Now for a few alphas…

Vintage Medicine, by Micheline Martin, is perfect for those vintage pages or for those grungy ones.

Ransom, by Micheline Martin, is great for layouts of your children or for sending ransom letters. :)

Alpha Labels Sticker & Brush Set, by Sweet Genevieve Designs, is great for titles and labels for locations, dates, saying, etc.

Lots and lots of kits to share, so let’s get to it…

The Scrapdish Designers June 2008 Collaborative Kit, by the ScrapDish designers, is fantastic! And I am not saying that because I contributed to it. Everyone did a fantastic job! There are so many beautiful papers, I just can’t wait to start scrapping with it. It includes over 40 papers and over 50 elements, plus an alpha and 8 quickpages!

Now the next kit I saw used in a layout and then I went in search for the kit. Noah’s Ark, by NitWit Collections, just so perfect for layouts of babies! I wish I had this before I finished all my son’s layouts, but I bet I could use it for those visits to the zoo. Or even for religious layouts.

Also available to go with this kit is Critter Talk alpha, Noah’s Solids, Noah’s Too, Lil Bits Noah’s Ark, Lickety Splits Noah’s Ark. Of course, with me, if I buy the kit I have to buy all the extras too! I must of spent more than $100 at NitWit Collections in the past year!

I am always on a lookout for a great kit to use for my son’s layouts. So when I found Tree Forts and Tire Swings, by Aja Abney, I had to add it to my wishlist. It is a great dirty, outdoor adventure kit. It would work for all sorts of outdoor (and even indoor) layouts about camping, hiking, playing in the backyard and so much more!

Another great kit I found for my son’s layout is Bounce, by Shabby Princess. I love the bright colors and whimsical feel. Perfect for summery layouts. Lots of great boyish designs (although I can see it used for girls too).

Now I paper scrap and digi scrap but I never really got into hybrid scrapping. But this template set may change my mind… Hybrid Magic No. 1 - Train Album, by Michelle Filo, is just perfect. My son is going through a train phase (which I hear is typical for most boys and some girls) and I am seriously thinking of making him his own train album. This template would be perfect to get me started! I really love the example album they show too!

Now last of all I wanted to quickly share another alpha I found. Recycled Alpha: Graphed, by Leora Sanford, is very well made and looks very real. I love paper alphas, I use them more than any other type. So this one was immediately added to my MUST buy list.

Don’t have much today. Busy trying to move my website to the new host. I have downloading my website for the past 20 hours! Uploading to the new host will take even longer! I was debating whether I should do this post today since it means I upload more images, but I decided to after I found this kit…

Apron Strings 2, by Leora Sanford, caught my eye immediately! I had won a gift certificate from her at Songbird Avenue. I had thought to get this kit but ended up getting Teen Closet for boys, since it was a more appropriate kit for scrapbooking layouts of my son (still trying to scrap his first year after all). If I ever get into the Scrap4Others business (which my mil might be launching me into) then this would be the first kit to add to my S4O supplies (there is a cu license for it too). The reason I am so passionate about this kit is the bold colors and designs. I already know of one layout I did (for my sil) that I wish I had this kit at the time I made the layout.

Well that is the only kit I will be posting about today. I will have tons more next Monday. Hopefully by then I will be on the new host!!
