Today is the first day of Autumn, my favorite season in New Hampshire! I haven’t experienced a real autumn in almost 5 years! So now I finally can see the leaves change to blazing colors of red and orange.

Sugar Maple, by Cori Gammon, makes me think of autumn. The bold colors or red, orange, yellow, brown and green are perfect for autumn layouts. There is also a Sugar Maple Addon that coordinates with more papers and elements.

Another great autumn kit I found is Harvest Fun by Sweet Digi Scraps. The elements are fantastic looking. I just love the scarecrow and the tree! This kit would also work for school and halloween photos!

I found some great journaling elements with text paths, for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements users, that can give any layout or journaling something extra. The Write Stuff by Misty Cato and Darcy Baldwin comes with 4 journaling spots each with there own text path (seperate), a font, 115 paper cut words, an alpha in 5 colors, a date set with months, days and years and a set word art! There is so many fantastic word related elements in this kit that you can’t possibly not have a use for it.

I said, on Moday, that I would post some layouts using my recent purchases. Well here thay are…

Journaling: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven ! Eight! Nine! TEN!!! Ten chicken nuggets for me to eat! Oh wait! Mommy will be eating some. So four chicken nuggets for me and six for mommy. I just love making dinner for mommy and me! I hope we get to eat goldfish with these chicken nuggets! Yum! Yum!

This past weekend I went to the Sweet Shoppe Designs website and found not only some fantastic new kits but a great deal! I got $50.98 worth of stuff for only $24.98! Here is what I purchased…

The new collab kit He Said, She Said at Sweet Shoppe Designs is wonderful, especially when you can get it for free! I love all the cute elements and beautiful papers. And the color scheme works for a variety of themes! You can get the kit for free when you make a purchase if $20 or more (including the price of the kit). Or you can get He Said, She Said plus the Coordinating 3″x3″ Accordion Mini Album for free with a purchase of $40 or more (including the price of both kits). The offer ends on July 29!

So now I wanted to get the He Said, She Said and Mini Album for Free so I had to fill my cart. Those two items were $20 of my purchase. Next I added Going Places - The Collection by Misty Cato. I had already posted about this one last week but was able to purchase it then. Now I could finally buy it and I absolutely love it! Can’t wait to make a layout with this collection! This kit is currently $11.99 (normally $17.45). That brought my total to $31.99. I still needed to add more items to get the He Said, She Said and Mini Album for Free.

So I added the Little Buddies kit, by Dani Mogstad and Gina Miller, which I had recently added to my wish list after seeing it on Dani’s blog. I had gone to Dani’s blog to participate in the Songbird Avenue’s Scraplift Challenge of one of Dani’s layouts using this month’s current charity kit Endless Summer, which I had blogged about 2 weeks ago. Well I am always looking for boy kits and I thought Little Buddies would be perfect. I was right! The quality is fantastic. I have yet another kit I can’t wait to scrapbook with whenever I can find the time! This kit is $7.00 so it brought my total to $38.99. I was still short to get the He Said, She Said and Mini Album for Free.

So I decided to look in New Releases section and found Little C by Melissa Bennett. I love this kit! I is so perfect for the pages I want to do of my son! And there was a bonus! You get the Little C Jack Album Free when you buy this kit! This offer is good until July 25. So I immediately added this kit to the shopping cart. The kit is $5.99, that brought my total to $44.98. Finally!

I made my purchases and with the free Jack Album, which is normally $6.00, I got $50.98 worth of kits for only $24.98. Lots of beautiful kits that I can’t wait to use! I will post some layouts later this weeks.

I have some amazing items to share today. Starting with Misty Cato’s new kit Going Places - The Collection.

This kit has so many creative embellishments. From space shuttles to boats to trains to hot air ballons and it keeps going! You can even purchase this kit in pieces! Going Places – The Seaside, Going Places - The Train Station, Going Places – The Park, Going Places – Up Up and Away, Going Places – The Papers and The Going Places – Alphas.

And until July 18th you can even get the Going Places - Jack Album, FREE!

I am a little behind on the holiday kits, but I still wish to share this one with all my American readers.

Ka-Boom by Marcie Reckinger and ChereKaye is just fantastic for all those 4th of July or patrotic layouts. Even if you are not an American, most of the items in this kit may work with any layout that red, white and blue is needed.

When I saw the Hand-Stitched Hearts, by Natalie Braxton, I knew I had to have them. I love the textures and the country crafts feel to them.

I have some great kit finds today. The Gotta Pixel - Gotta Grab It series of kits are fantastic! Although they are no longer available as Gotta Grab It, they are still available in the store. Check out these fantastic colors!

Painted Alpha by She’s Full Of Scrap!, Glitter Swirls Elements Pack by Sarah Meyer, Jill’s Bag #1 by Jill D-Zines, Fibers, Frames & More! by Sarah Meyer, Borderline - Floralie by Cherie Shields, i : love to : Swirl - Paper by Cherie Shields, and Neon Retro - Paper by Cherie Shields. There are many more that go with these kits but these are just the ones that caught my eye.

Border seem to be a popular element, especially clustered, or layered borders. Here are a few I really like…

It’s All Jeans: Layered Corners by Kim De Smet look like jean pockets, crammed full of scrapbooking goodies :) I can see them being used for teen girl pages.

I also found several borders by Misty Cato. I really like the Fabric Curls - Neutral and they are also available in Rainbow. They are great for adding grunge and texture to layouts. The Neutral colors would be great for all my boy pages!

What I like most about Crunch Time Templates 3, by Micheline Martin, is that you can make them any color and that they have layers so you can customize them. It is in both PSP and PSD format so more people will be able to use these great crumpled edges!
