Journaling: Liam, you just love to slide. You could slide all day! The same slide over and over again, even though the slide twists so much you usually have to shimmy down most of the way. Sometimes you will have me go down with you. I practically have to curl into a ball, with you inside to get down the twisty slide at any speed faster than a stand still. You don’t mind. You never want to go down the other sides, the short steep slide or the tunnel slide. Maybe you are scared of those slides, the twisty slide is so much slower.

I am going to start a new regular post called “Monday Pick Me Up”. Each monday I will post my great digital scrapbooking finds of the past week.

Songbird Avenue’s newest kit Spring Out Loud! with guess designer Leora Sanford is just FANTASTIC! I love the colors. It works for so many different layouts. At first I wasn’t sure if I should buy it because I thought it might not work for boy layouts but then I looked at the CT gallery and I saw some wonderful boy layouts using this kit. Now I need to get scrapping with this kit!

BTW this kit also benefits the “Women in Literacy Initiative” at ProLiteracy Worldwide.

Another great find I made recently was Boxed In by Paint the Moon. Her boxes are fantastic! There are some many different styles and she has them in many different formats: with and without shadows, with and without backs, and PSD and PNG layers. I have already used these boxes on two of my layouts: My First Christmas and Vacation Overview.

Designers do you hate making alphas because of how time consuming it is to just save them? Well don’t hate them anymore! Just get Monica Larsen’s Alpha Saver Action. This Photoshop action will save all your letters, numbers and characters in individual files for you and in just a few minutes! I have already created two alphas with it and now I want to make more just so I can use this action!

I am still scrapping my baby photos…
