I haven't been involved in the scrapbooking world much since my daughter was born. I have been very busy with my 2 children plus moving. Now my husband is working nights and working towards his Masters during the day, so it just me and the kids all day. My son also started kindergarten in the afternoon, which just ruins my schedule because I can't do anything that takes longer than 2 hours. With everything going on I just haven't had the time or energy to create any new kits. I have decided I am leaving ScrapDish. Right now all my kits on ScrapDish are 75% off. I do plan to continue this blog but less frequently than I used to and I may add new things to my store here from time to time, when I feel the need to design something new. I do plan on making a 2011 template since I will be making one for me anyways. I will probably continue making the calendar templates each year since I make calendars every year anyways. So check out my sale on ScrapDish and check back here in December, I might just have a Christmas freebie! :)

Mother’s Day

Here is a layout I made today of my sorta first mother's day. I was 5 months pregnant. I had gone to a mother's day event on base and ended up winning a photo of myself in a Kimono. The Japanese ladies who dressed me were all excited about me having a baby too! They just love babies!

I hope all you moms out there have a great Mother's Day. I will be spending this rainy day (yeah it's raining and we are going to get storms later too) indoors, at home, probably on my computer (might have to run off my battery if the storms get bad). My husband is working today so I will also have to take care of my son. He is currently in full force terrible twos mode. Through all this I made a very quick freebie this morning. So my 2 year old son can say his alphabet and can count up to 19 but he still doesn't call me "mama", instead he calls me "baba". I guess he thinks I am a sheep since that is also what he calls sheep.

Thankful for Love

This is the time of year when we start to think about what we are thankful for. Well maybe not everyone thinks about it, but I do, do you? "What are you thankful for?" is a great question to ask when you are scrapbooking. Scrapbook a page about what you are thankful for. I plan to that this month but why don't I first share about this great kit "Thankful" made by the ScrapDish team for the Scrap-A-Faire starting tomorrow.
