I haven’t posted a Monday Pick Me Up in awhile, but I am glad I have the time (and internet) to start posting them again. I regretted not posting about the Songbird Avenue August kit. It was very beautiful, but sadly it is no longer available. However I am glad to post about the Songbird Avenue September kit, Autumn Woods. Autumn Woods, designed by Two Sisters Designs and Jan Crowely, benifits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! I love the colors and the asortment of autumn styles.

NitWit Collections came out with many great designs while I was away. I love them all and just wish to quickly share a few (well all) from August. First there was All Fired Up, great for those summer Bar-B-Que layouts. Then there was the Summer Splash Collection, which has so many great summer designs for those water related layouts.

The most recent kit by NitWit Collection, Live ‘n Learn, is so cute and perfect for my photos of my son starting Preschool (I can’t believe he is 3 already!). I love the school house, crayons and chalk board; so adorable. I can’t wait to start scrapping with this kit.

Also check out Live ‘n Learn Too, Live ‘n Learn Solids, Lil Bits – Live ‘n Learn and Alphawits – Learnin’ Curves.

The Bottom of the Toybox collab, by Jacque Larsen, Jenna Desai and Karah Fredricks, is so… so… AWESOMELY CUTE! I love all the toy elements and the designs and the colors… actually there is nothing I don’t love about it! You MUST check out the layouts made with this kit!!!

Well that is all I am posting about today. I really have been deleting most of my new product emails. I never had enough internet time to go through them. Now I will be able to get caught up.

Songbird Avenue is having a scraplift challenge using this month’s kit Endless Summer. Here is a layout I made for it. It is scraplifted from Dani Mogstad’s layout Caught.

Here is another layout I made using the same kit…

This past weekend I went to the Sweet Shoppe Designs website and found not only some fantastic new kits but a great deal! I got $50.98 worth of stuff for only $24.98! Here is what I purchased…

The new collab kit He Said, She Said at Sweet Shoppe Designs is wonderful, especially when you can get it for free! I love all the cute elements and beautiful papers. And the color scheme works for a variety of themes! You can get the kit for free when you make a purchase if $20 or more (including the price of the kit). Or you can get He Said, She Said plus the Coordinating 3″x3″ Accordion Mini Album for free with a purchase of $40 or more (including the price of both kits). The offer ends on July 29!

So now I wanted to get the He Said, She Said and Mini Album for Free so I had to fill my cart. Those two items were $20 of my purchase. Next I added Going Places – The Collection by Misty Cato. I had already posted about this one last week but was able to purchase it then. Now I could finally buy it and I absolutely love it! Can’t wait to make a layout with this collection! This kit is currently $11.99 (normally $17.45). That brought my total to $31.99. I still needed to add more items to get the He Said, She Said and Mini Album for Free.

So I added the Little Buddies kit, by Dani Mogstad and Gina Miller, which I had recently added to my wish list after seeing it on Dani’s blog. I had gone to Dani’s blog to participate in the Songbird Avenue’s Scraplift Challenge of one of Dani’s layouts using this month’s current charity kit Endless Summer, which I had blogged about 2 weeks ago. Well I am always looking for boy kits and I thought Little Buddies would be perfect. I was right! The quality is fantastic. I have yet another kit I can’t wait to scrapbook with whenever I can find the time! This kit is $7.00 so it brought my total to $38.99. I was still short to get the He Said, She Said and Mini Album for Free.

So I decided to look in New Releases section and found Little C by Melissa Bennett. I love this kit! I is so perfect for the pages I want to do of my son! And there was a bonus! You get the Little C Jack Album Free when you buy this kit! This offer is good until July 25. So I immediately added this kit to the shopping cart. The kit is $5.99, that brought my total to $44.98. Finally!
I made my purchases and with the free Jack Album, which is normally $6.00, I got $50.98 worth of kits for only $24.98. Lots of beautiful kits that I can’t wait to use! I will post some layouts later this weeks.

Songbird Avenue’s July charity kit is fantastic!!! This month Dani Mogstad joined the Songbird designers to create this beautiful kit for charity. I love the colors and the worn style of Endless Summer. I will be using this kit to scrapbook my vacation photos! And the best part is that it benefits S.A.F.E. House.

I have found a new favorite designer recently, Shabby Miss Jenn. I just love her designs. So when I won a $10 GC for use in her store I had a hard time choosing only $10 worth of kits (I couldn’t afford to buy more but I have added more to my wishlist). So here are the two kits I got:

I just loved the Wild Animals kit! The animal elements are adorable! I also think the papers and other elements are fab too! Great for trips to the zoo, but all for those layouts of your kids doing crazy things! Like in my layout below…

Lil Guys kit is soooo adorable! I just love the sweet colors. Amusingly I found that one of the pattern papers matched a plaid shirt my son was wearing in one of my photos. So I absolutely had to use it when I scrapped that photo:

Today I want to start with the new Songbird Avenue kit. I love all their kits, not only are they great quality, but they benefit charities! Leap of Faith, with guest designer Vicki Stegall, is no exception. This great kit will benefit MercyCorps, which in turn benefits communities in need due to natural disasters or economic or social upheaval.
My husband is a meteorologist, so I thought these two kits would be perfect for layouts about his job… but of course they can work for so many other layouts too!
The Weather, by SussieM, has so many great weather related elements. I especially like the variety of clouds and the bead like raindrops. There is even over 200 items in this kit!
Weather Station, by Dawn Inskip, reminds me of my times at the Yokato AFB in Japan. One thing I did was every time I blogged, I would also put the weather report in my post. Now this kit makes me want to scrapbook each of those posts, or to start a new series of weather layouts. There are so many great elements in this kit. I really like the different style too. Just look at these great ways to record the weather on your pages or creating a weather report…

Now the last kit for the day is a collab kit from the DigiChicks called Unconditional. I just love the colors of this kit! It has so many great elements and papers for scrapbooking those special memories of your mom, or for mother’s day, or even for a new baby book.
