Dark Side of the Moon

This print was created in my Intro to Printmaking course as part of an assignment focused on emboss-only techniques. I constructed the plate using recycled cereal box cardboard, carefully layering cut shapes to build dimension in the design. Without the use of ink, the image is formed solely through pressure, allowing light and shadow to define the raised and recessed areas. The result is a subtle, tactile composition that invites closer inspection, emphasizing texture and form over color. This piece challenged me to think creatively about materials and to explore the expressive potential of relief and surface.
