Skippy Print

This print of a dog was created in my high school art class using the linocut technique and features my family pet, a Schipperke named Skippy. I began by sketching his image onto a linoleum block, then carefully carved away the areas I wanted to remain white. After rolling black ink over the raised surface, I pressed a sheet of paper onto the block to transfer the image, capturing Skippy’s likeness in a bold, high-contrast print.
