Man in a Tire

This black-and-white photograph was taken for my college Photography I course using my Nikon FM10 SLR camera. I captured the image on 35mm film, carefully composing the shot with attention to light, contrast, and texture. After shooting, I developed the film by hand in the campus darkroom, learning the traditional chemical process of bringing the negatives to life. I then created a print in the darkroom, using controlled exposure and contrast techniques to highlight the tonal range and visual impact of the scene. This scanned version preserves the original’s detail and character, representing both my technical growth and creative expression through analog photography.
