When you think of a hero you think of a police officer, firefighter, paramedic, soldier, etc. But picture them in your head and they are probably all men. Women do these roles too, but they are rarely shown in the media. I am trying to subvert people’s idea of what a police officer, firefighter, paramedic, and soldier are through the use of pop music, footage of women in these roles, and an old WWII film about how women were helping the war effort.
